Myojo offers you a breathtaking view of Mount Myojogatake, commonly called Daimonjiyama. As you let your body soak in the smooth hot spring water, look beyond the steam and you’ll see the gentle dance of light and wind. Gaze in wonder at the varicolored sceneries brought upon by seasonal changes—the gradations of green of fresh verdure, the enchanting autumn colors, and the crystalline silence of a snow-covered landscape. The bath is arranged in such a way that lets you feel the calming warmth of the earth, trees, and the natural landscape, highlighting their graceful elements in stark relief.

When to avoid bathing While experiencing active illness (especially with fever), active tuberculosis, advanced malignant tumor, severe physical debilitation such as severe anemia, severe heart or lung disease causing breathing difficulties with slight movements, severe kidney disease with swelling, gastrointestinal bleeding, visible bleeding, or acute exacerbations of chronic illness.
